Songadya is a Marathi film directed by Shrirang Deshpande, with original screenplay by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Marathi films producer Ajay Chandan. The movie stars Amruta Khanvilkar, Siddharth Jadhav, Kishor Kadam and Ankush Chaudhari in the main roles. Songadya is a modern-day love story which revolves around a beautiful relationship between two individuals from different social backgrounds where they find friendship at first sight. It then takes them through their journey of discovering themselves amidst friends and family trying to stop the relationship from happening. Songadya is a love story where the lead male and female characters (played by Amruta Khanvilkar and Siddharth Jadhav) fall in love but face opposition from their families. "Songadya" is produced under Ajay Chandan's production house, Lalit Marathi. The film is directed by Shrirang Deshpande and cinematography done by Ravi Varman and editing done by Abhijeet Deshpande.
